Medical Disclaimer

Stabilize Health · Last updated 27 August 2026

If you think you may be having a medical emergency, stop reading and get help now. In the United States call 911, or 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Elsewhere, call your local emergency number. Do not use this app to decide whether a situation is an emergency.

Stabilize Health is not a medical device

Stabilize Health is a self-tracking and organising tool. It is a notebook that does arithmetic on what you write in it. It has not been evaluated or cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or by any other regulator, and it is not intended to be a medical device under any jurisdiction's rules.

It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent anything

The app will never tell you that you have a condition, or that you do not have one. It will never tell you that a treatment is working, that a symptom is dangerous or harmless, or what your numbers mean. Specifically:

It never gives medication or dosing advice

Stabilize Health will never suggest that you start, stop, change, increase, or decrease any medication, supplement, or treatment, and it will never suggest a dose. The medication and dose records in the app are records of what you told it. Decisions about treatment belong to you and a qualified clinician.

There is no AI advice in this app

Stabilize Health contains no AI assistant, no chatbot, and no generated recommendations. Every number and every summary it shows is deterministic arithmetic over the entries you made.

Educational content

Where the app includes general health information, it is paraphrased from publicly available sources such as the CDC, MedlinePlus, NIAMS, the Endocrine Society, ASRM, and ACOG, and reviewed for accuracy. General information is not advice about you. It cannot account for your history, your other conditions, or your medications.

Always talk to a qualified clinician. Use this app in addition to professional care, never instead of it. Speak to a doctor, nurse, or other qualified health professional before you make any medical decision, before you change any treatment, and whenever a symptom worries you. Never delay seeking care, or disregard advice you have been given, because of something you read or saw in this app.

Accuracy and completeness

The app can only reflect what you put into it. Missed days, mis-taps, and forgotten entries all change what it shows. Do not treat a summary from this app as a complete or verified medical record.

Who this app is for

Adults aged 18 and over. It is not intended for children, and the app will not proceed past setup for anyone under 18.
