Please include your iOS version and app version (Settings → About in the app). Do not send us your health data — we do not need it and we would rather not have it.
This is not a medical service. We cannot answer questions about your health, your symptoms, your test results, or your treatment. If you think you may be having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number now — in the United States, 911, or 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. Open the app and start.
Where is my data stored?
On your phone, in the app's own storage. We do not receive it. See the Privacy Policy.
How do I move my data to a new phone?
Restore your new phone from an encrypted iPhone backup and the app's data comes with it. There is no server-side copy, so a fresh install on a new phone starts empty. Before switching phones, consider exporting a CSV from the Report tab as your own archive.
How do I export my records?
Open the Report tab, choose a date range and the sections you want, then generate a PDF summary or a CSV of your raw entries. The file is created on your device and shared only when you tap share.
How do I delete everything?
Settings → Delete all data. This erases every entry the app holds and cannot be undone. Deleting the app also removes its data.
Can I change how the daily check-in works?
Yes. Settings lets you switch between guided mode, which asks one thing at a time, and form mode, which puts the whole day on one screen. Switch as often as you like.
Can I turn cycle tracking off?
Yes. It is an optional module. Turn it off in Settings and it disappears from the app.
I hit a limit on symptoms.
Free tracking covers up to five active symptoms. Membership removes the limit. Nothing you have already logged is ever removed.
Why doesn't the app tell me what my data means?
By design. Stabilize Health organises what you record so you can bring it to a clinician. It does not diagnose, interpret, or advise. See the Medical Disclaimer.
Does the app use AI?
No. There is no chatbot and no generated advice. Every number is arithmetic on your own entries.
Is there a community or feed?
No. There is no social feature of any kind. Your log is private to you.
Membership and billing
What does membership add?
The clinician report (PDF and CSV export), unlimited tracked symptoms, and detailed insights and trends. Daily tracking, safety information, and data deletion are free.
I paid but the app still shows the free tier.
Tap Restore Purchases on the paywall or in Settings, using the same Apple Account you bought with. If that does not work, email us with the date of purchase.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open the Settings app → your name → Subscriptions, and cancel there. Cancelling at least 24 hours before the renewal date stops the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too: reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue App Store refunds ourselves, but tell us what went wrong and we will try to fix it.
Accessibility
The app supports Dynamic Type, VoiceOver, and Reduce Motion, uses a dark low-glare theme, and keeps touch targets at least 44 pt. If something is hard to use with assistive technology, please tell us — we treat that as a bug, not a feature request.
Reporting a problem
Email support@8oclock.app with what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. Screenshots help. Please crop out anything you would rather we did not see.
