Terms of Use

Stabilize Health · Last updated 27 August 2026

These terms apply when you use the Stabilize Health app, published by 8 O'Clock Labs. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please delete the app.

1. What the app is

Stabilize Health is a personal self-tracking tool for adults living with long-term conditions. You use it to record symptoms, energy and pacing, flare days, medications and doses, lab values, measurements, and optionally cycle entries, and to produce a summary you can take to an appointment.

It is not medical care. The app is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and it does not give medical advice. Please read the Medical Disclaimer — it is part of these terms.

2. Who may use it

You must be 18 or older. The app asks for your birth year during setup and will not continue for anyone under 18.

3. Your data is yours

Everything you enter stays on your device. We do not have an account system and we do not receive your health data. You can export it as a PDF or CSV, and you can delete all of it from Settings at any time. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.

Because your data lives on your device, you are responsible for backing it up. If you lose or reset your phone, or delete the app, your entries go with it. We cannot recover them for you.

4. Membership, billing, and cancellation

Core daily tracking is free. Stabilize Membership adds the clinician report (PDF and CSV export), unlimited tracked symptoms, and detailed insights and trends.

Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms, not by us. Requests go to reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app, use it to break the law, or use it in a way that harms other people. You may not resell or redistribute the app or your membership.

6. Our intellectual property

The app, its name, its design, and its content belong to 8 O'Clock Labs, apart from third-party components used under their own licences. Your membership is a licence to use the app, not a transfer of ownership. Your health entries remain yours.

7. Availability and changes

We may update the app, change or remove features, or stop distributing it. Because the app works offline and stores your data locally, an update or a discontinuation does not remove data already on your device, and you can export it before you stop using the app.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, and we do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that anything it shows is accurate or complete. What it shows depends entirely on what you entered.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, 8 O'Clock Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, including lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

10. Apple

Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies where it is not overridden here: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
